We hope you were able to join us for this very special installment of our Coffee Chat series.
While each session thus far has been about taking a little breather from your day and learning something new that can potentially help out your career or business, this one was aimed at giving you—just you—a chance to unwind and reflect.
This time around we were joined by spoken word artist, songwriter, and author IN-Q. IN-Q, short for "in question," is the first spoken word artist to perform with Circ Du Soleil. He's been featured on HBO's Def Poetry Jam. He wrote Selena Gomez's multi-platinum single "Love You Like A Love Song." And he's constantly challenging his audiences to look deeper into the human experience—including their own. Needless to say, we feel very fortunate he was able to join us!
The session began with IN-Q reciting his poem "Home." If nothing else, you ought to check out the recording of the conversation to listen to that! And then we dove into many of the topics explored in IN-Q's new book, Inquire Within, like giving yourself the space to process what you're experiencing, and the importance of acknowledging your pain, so that it can help you grow.
